Claire Schmidt, Senior Analyst
Claire brings corporate consulting experience from her work at The Parthenon Group in San Francisco, where she worked on strategy and due diligence cases across a variety of sectors, including education, retail, financial services, and restaurants, while also working on pro-bono efforts for local nonprofits. More recently, she was a member of Roll International Corporation’s internal consulting group in Los Angeles, where she focused on operations and marketing projects for Roll’s portfolio companies, including POM Wonderful, Paramount Citrus, Fiji Water, and Teleflora. Her work there spanned a range of activities, including a turnaround project at a manufacturing facility, marketing expansion strategy, licensing and promotional assessments, and new product development.
In her spare time, Claire is a volunteer research associate for Nuru International, a nonprofit committed to eradicating poverty in developing countries, one community at a time. She has completed projects on malaria testing, educational innovation, water and sanitation, cause marketing, and tourism.
Claire holds a BA in economics from Stanford University, where she was the president of Stanford Habitat for Humanity for three years. She speaks conversational Spanish.
